Nothing much to say except that I've made my way in arts as a hobbyist.
I first learned about video compositing (first Pinnacle, then Sony vegas, and last but not least the After Effect/premiere combo ) Even though I've learned a lot of theory on the subject (and I loved it!) I was pretty limited since I had no camcorder...
Then I dreamt about learning 3D creation. Creating magnificient realistic worlds was a beautiful dream indeed. But eventually, I've discovered that 3D programmes were pretty badass both in term of skills/knowledge required and in computing power requirement, so I dropped this idea =/
Then I thought about drawing... I've always wanted to draw but I was (and most of the time still) lame. I also thought that you needed to be "gifted" to be a good drawer, that you were born with the drawing bliss. Then I've learned that this was not true (even though gifted people do exist), so I told myself I could do it!
I bought my Wacom CTE-450, borrowed my brother's Photoshop license and here I am, struggling with my brain to figure out how to put mental images on the screen.
